Finding the balance between effort and ease on and off the mat with Julie

In the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali refers to ‘sthira-sukha asanam’, which is understood to mean the creation of ease in the body whilst maintaining strength and stability. Cultivating these dual qualities allows us to move through our practice in a state of mindfulness and grace. Our attention is able to shift from the mind, or discomfort in our bodies we may experience. We find stillness and develop a heightened sense of awareness of the body and breath as we practice. We feel a sense of calm, even during poses we may find challenging. This is where the magic of yoga takes place.

In this workshop we will explore how proper alignment allows us to experience a sense of freedom and how paying attention to our foundation and breath transforms the way we feel in a pose. We will explore other yogic concepts including Drishti (gaze) and Bandhas (locks). Our yoga practice will deepen, as we experience this balance of sthira and sukha when we step on the mat. With time and practice, we learn to take this state into our daily lives.

This workshop is suitable all yogis, beginners and experienced alike.

In a recent study at the University of Sydney, researchers found dancing helps improve cognitive function and psychological health, in some instances more effectively than gym workouts and sports. In this investigation it was discovered that dancing and social dancing can be a powerful treatment for ageing and improving a wide range of psychological and cognitive outcomes like emotional well-being, depression, motivation, social cognition, and some aspects of memory... just to name a few!

Mum & Baby Yoga & Baby Massage

Mum & Baby Yoga + Massage is a fun and interactive experience for both you and your baby. We include stretches and poses for baby, yoga poses and exercises for mum to practice with her baby and while baby rests, breathing and relaxation techniques for mum, a beautiful, easy to follow massage sequence for mum to practice with her baby, and we include nursery rhymes and songs for language development. In a Mum & Baby Yoga + Massage class, babies' sense of balance and body awareness is stimulated through yoga inspired poses and movements.

This 50hr training has been designed for anyone looking to facilitate yin yoga practice, including meditation and yoga teachers, healers and or students with an interest to go deeper. The training focuses on how to easily incorporate yin into our practices and sessions with depth and feeling. We will explore yin yoga postures, philosophy, theories, alignment, adjustments, modifications, and how to teach this class from start to finish.

Our yin yoga yoga teacher training (YTT) is for anyone wanting to deepen their practice and understanding of yin yoga and their body, whether you plan to one day teach this style of yoga or not, this course will give you an in depth understanding of the ins and outs of yin yoga.

This YTT can be taken by anyone wanting to deepen their practice and understanding without wanting to teach, as a personal exploration, as well as anyone wanting to teach this class and share yoga with their community. Yin yoga is a very nurturing practice that allows us to better understand our own body and mind connection. Offering long stretches and holds within the practice and with the use of props for support, this is a great practice for anyone seeking openness and restoration.

- Healers and Wellness Practitioners
- Students who want to incorporate depth into their self practice, want to share with family and friends, or who are thinking about doing a YTT.

We are Teg and Tullia from Mystic Mind.


We both practice and teach yoga and have been exploring and studying relationship tantra. Learning the teachings and techniques has added a beautiful layer within our relationship & has helped us deepen and strengthen our connection with each other.


We have found that whether you’re thriving or going through tough times, taking the time to dedicate full attention to connect brings more understanding, trust and love into your partnership and creates a safe space for you to be able to communicate and listen to each others needs.


We all have both feminine and masculine energies within ourself and it’s important to honour both the masculine & feminine and create a healthy balance of both energies in a relationship which is what will be practiced in the activities we share.


We also use yogic meditations that generate powerful intimacy and create deeper bonds individually and together.

This practice comes from Kundalini and Tantric traditions of the Himalayas and it teaches us to harness the infinite source of energy within.

 

Throughout this journey, you will connect with your breath, explore higher states of consciousness and access altered states of awareness. Himalayan Breathwork places you on a path of evolution, expansion and liberation. This practice is beautifully woven together with Movement, Mudra’s, Kriya’s, Mantra’s and Breath.

We are Teg and Tullia from Mystic Mind.


We both practice and teach yoga and have been exploring and studying relationship tantra. Learning the teachings and techniques has added a beautiful layer within our relationship & has helped us deepen and strengthen our connection with each other.


We have found that whether you’re thriving or going through tough times, taking the time to dedicate full attention to connect brings more understanding, trust and love into your partnership and creates a safe space for you to be able to communicate and listen to each others needs.


We all have both feminine and masculine energies within ourself and it’s important to honour both the masculine & feminine and create a healthy balance of both energies in a relationship which is what will be practiced in the activities we share.


We also use yogic meditations that generate powerful intimacy and create deeper bonds individually and together.

Partner Connection is an opportunity to be fully present with your partner with no distractions. Teg & Tullia hold a calm and open & light hearted space and will demonstrate and guide you and your love through different activities all based on deepening the connection within your relationship.

During this practice you will be taken on an evolutionary journey through a sacred Sattva Himalayan Breathwork and be showered in the vibrations of Sound using high frequency 432hz instruments such as Crystal Singing Bowls, Crystal Harp, Crystal Chalice, Native American Flute, Medicine Drum, Planetary Gong, Chimes and more. Afterwards, you can expect to feel renewed, enlivened and empowered.

Sound journey  - Medicine for the soul

Everything is energy. All forms whether a particle or a wave; can be broken down into a sound, frequency or vibration. Sound and music therapy is very powerful. Some sounds are so subtle or at a pitch we don’t notice, there are certain sounds which are more beneficial in that they can recalibrate, balance or even heal certain energy centres, systems and parts of the body. 

Surrender to an unforgettable experience of sacred sound and song. During the journey, you can simply relax and allow the healing vibrations to wash through you, or you can use the opportunity to journey deeper into your own subconscious and potentially work and heal through the things that no longer serve you.


Using Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, voice, toning and mantra, medicine drum, gong, flute, harmonium, guitar and didgeridoo.

Kirt Mallie is a teacher of enlightenment, yoga and meditation, he is also a spiritual counsellor, breathwork facilitator, and sound therapist. 

Playing guitar since the age of 12, Kirt has always been interested in the affects that different sounds and music have on our thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Since traveling different parts of the world and doing a degree in sound therapy in 2016, Kirt has been developing and offering a sound experience like no other, incorporating an array of instruments from different cultures and traditions from around the world. Kirt offers group and private therapy sessions. He also facilitates classes, workshops, retreats, trainings and sacred ceremonies.

Meditation Circle with Mystic Minds

We are Teg and Tullia, we practice, study & teach Kundalini yoga. Meditation is a powerful tool to connect, heal and expand awareness.

We will be holding a powerful meditation circle infused with mantra, mudra and breath.
Practicing together amplifies the collective energy.

The meditation we will be sharing this month is called “the crystallisation of the self” the series guides the kundalini energy & the aura to open the heart centre to establish self recognition.
There is a sequence of mudras used with the mantra that work with the chakras.

The Hamee Ham Brahm Ham mantra is ideal for opening the heart. This meditation merges consciousness with the heart so that we can direct passion with intuition. If passion is not controlled with intuition then it causes self destruction.

2.5 hours may seem like a long time to be in meditation but it really does fly! It allows to you go deep and feel a transformation from when you first started to when you finish.

There are bolsters and blocks provided by Sol Collective, but if you need more support you can bring a meditation seat or stool. We will be seated for extended amount of time so think about your own comfort! If you have injuries that prevent you from sitting on the floor you can bring a chair.
Any shawls or blankets for relaxation at the end of the meditation.

We are Teg and Tullia, we teach Kundalini yoga and are passionate about sharing these sacred teachings that are a powerful tool to connect, heal and expand awareness.

We will be holding a powerful meditation circle infused with mantra, mudra and breath. 

Practicing together amplifies the collective energy and potency of the powerful meditation.

In our experience, this meditation has helped bring more balance, clarity, positivity and creativity into life. It works on the subconscious on a cellular level which can rewire and change patterns in the brain. 

The length of time we will be spending on this meditation will allow you to drop deep into the practice and amplify the effects. This will be an experience that will bring deep healing into the psyche. 

Kirtan Kriya in an ancient meditation practiced by yogis in India for thousands of years. It is a simple and powerful meditation that bring balance to the brain and chakras and helps you consolidate and change habits. It helps decrease negative thoughts and emotions and increase positive ones. 

Studies on this Meditation have shown that just 12 minutes a day of Kirtan Kriya meditation 

  • improves blood flow to the brain

  • eases depression 

  • decreases inflammatory genes while creating healthy one

  • reverses memory loss 

More science has also shown that this meditation affects how our cells age. 

This is a potent practice that helps fight brain fog, anxiety and depression.

We will be practicing with eyes closed If you want to stay fully inward an eye mask may help.
