Jenna Grunsell
I first stepped onto a yoga mat in 2007 for the physical benefits I thought I would gain. As I deepened my practice - it carried me through some of the hardest chapters of life so far. The healing I found through yoga sparked within me the desire to learn everything I can about it. It has led me to some of the greatest experiences of my life and now I find so much joy in sharing these profound yet simple life philosophies. I love creating dynamic, strengthening flows and holding space for deep release and restoration. I believe a true balance of yang and yin is necessary to carry us through the waves of life. And ultimately guiding you back to your essence of peace is always my goal. I started my training in yoga to deepen my understanding of this practice for myself and have found that the more I learn - the more I want to know.

Once the yogi who couldn't touch her toes and dreaded the thought of walking into a yoga studio, to now becoming an E-RYT 500 lead trainer with over 10 years of yoga teaching experience. Yoga has taken me to dozens of countries, igniting my passion for travel and learning about the world but it has also grounded me here in NSW teaching me about the importance of doing what I love in my community through this practice and even as a wildlife rescuer with WIRES. I owe the teachings of yoga my life and I am so grateful I chose to take this leap into yoga and have so much passion for sharing the accessibility of yoga with my community and people all around the world.
I share vinyasa and yin styles of yoga at TSC, along with annual yoga teacher trainings, monthly ice plunge events, and most recently began fitness and run coaching. My greatest joy is helping people find the forms of movement that feel empowering, fun, and strong to become the very best version of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I attended my first Yoga class about 28 years ago. I can no longer remember much about the actual class - only that it was difficult, confusing, powerful, and mysterious! - but from that dayforward, I was completely hooked.
Since that time I have trained in many styles of yoga, and my classes reflect this. My offering to students is a creative flow of all the beautiful teachings I have learned along the way, and continue to receive, from my many teachers. I have a personal passion for yoga mythology as represented in the asana postures, and the powerful effect that can be found in literally embodying the shapes of the deities and the qualities they archetypically represent.
My longstanding relationship with all of the tools of Yoga has had a profound effect on my life. In some ways, it seems to me that from my first class, Yoga has slowly but surely shaped the course of my life - connecting me more and more deeply to the truth within me and allowing me to move through life in a way that feels increasingly more authentic and joyous. I feel deeply honoured and privileged to have the opportunity to help sow the seeds of growth and transformation that Yoga offers.

I was born and raised in NZ and moved to Coffs Harbour when I was 13.
I love nature and the abundance of beauty she blesses us with. I love to bathe in fresh or salty waters, soak in the sun, walk in the rain, ground my feet in the earth, climb trees, lay under the moon, gaze at the stars, stroll through forests.
I also love expressing through words & poetry, dance, somatics.
I started practicing yoga here in Coffs and it’s taken me on a wild ride which matches my curious, adventurous, wild & mysterious nature. I met my beloved at kundalini yoga training in the Northern Rivers and we ended up comitting to 7 life times together in Varanasi when we travelled to India. Hence why I have a strong passion and connection to sharing Kundalini yoga.
I love incorporating many different elements of breath, movement, meditation, relaxation, working with the different elements and chakras. I love exploring different ways to move the body & either shake up the energy or totally calm it down and I especially love dropping into the body and connecting with the insights, wisdom and knowledge it carries.

Teg Ageet
I am a certified level 1 Kundalini yoga teacher with a background in youth work and psychotherapy.
My path in kundalini yoga has been a transformative and profoundly healing process. I have discovered with the power of breath, movement and mantra I can regularly clean out the mind's limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns.
I now have all the tools to manage and minimise life's challenges. I have found a way to connect to my higher self every day on the mat. Yoga can radically elevate consciousness and expand the heart. I feel the same way about yoga when I make a batch of cookies, it is so delicious I want everyone to taste it! It is a precious gift to humanity that I want to continue to share until my last breath!

Yoga has always been a therapeutic practice for me, a way to reconnect back in with myself. My journey began with meditation at an early age, leading to my first yoga retreat at fourteen in the Blue Mountains.
As a practicing social worker, I often reflect on how our society would benefit from more Eastern practices - more time for stillness, spiritual/self exploration, and connection to our bodies. We all have an innate wisdom within us, often overshadowed by external factors. In my own yoga practice, I notice when I slow down my body and quieten my mind - I reconnect with this wisdom. I turn inwards instead of outwards for guidance. I remember my own power and internal compass. This feeling led me to complete my yoga teacher training in 2022.
With a deep love for stillness, Yin has become my go-to practice and main style to teach. During my classes, I hope to offer this same remembrance for you. The remembrance that we do not need to 'strive for', change or alter anything about ourselves. We simply need to return back to our truest form of self, before we were taught to be anything else.

I started my Pilates journey nearly 5 years ago now and never looked back since. Ever since attending my first class, I was hooked. Participating in a workout with no competition, judgement or expectation. Just being able to show up, put in everything YOU can and then walk out feeling absolutely amazing? Um?! yes please . After a short time it drastically improved my posture, improved my mental health and I could physically feel myself getting stronger! 3 years in, it was clear to me that this was something I needed to delve into further. I of course enrolled when my studio mentioned they would be conducting an instructor training program.
As confidence had never been my strong suit, public speaking (in my mind) was never an option. I enrolled with the intention to understand more about posture and the way the body moves to deepen my own practice. Needless to say, after a while the public speaking wasn’t so scary anymore and I realised the benefits of instructing far outweighed the ~pre-teaching nerves~ Being able to make someone feel stronger, happier, healthier and more confident all through your job WHILE having to time of your life and being able to create genuine connection within the community? I realised this was my calling and have been growing my knowledge and love for Pilates ever since.

My journey into yoga began over two decades ago when I discovered its profound impact on my mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. Starting with Satyananda Yoga in my early adulthood, the practice deeply transformed my life. This led me to train with the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA) and pursue further studies at the Satyananda Yoga Ashram in Northern India.
To deepen my understanding, I completed transformative trainings with renowned teachers such as Donna Farhi, Judith Hanson Lasater, Mark Whitwell, and Kit Laughlin. My passion for yoga has grown over the years, and I am dedicated to sharing its benefits with others.
In my classes, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to connect deeply with their inner self. I focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, and creating a balance between effort and ease. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, my goal is to help you find your own expression of each pose and cultivate a sense of presence and stillness that lingers well beyond the mat.

I started practicing yoga about 20 years ago as a way of managing work related stress and trying to achieve more equilibrium in my life. Arriving on the mat soothed my nerves and slowed everything down for me. It helped calm my ‘monkey mind’ and gave me the tools I needed to move through my life with more grace and ease, cultivating a practice of gratitude and finding joy in every day. As a curious school teacher and a committed lifelong learner, it was a natural progression for me to study yoga and discover more. My training represents a fusion of different styles of yoga including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Satyananda, and more recently, Yin.
My classes aim to weave ancient yogic teachings and techniques into the practice whilst making it accessible for all. I try to take my yoga off the mat every day. Yoga is so much more than postures, it’s a way of conscious living. I am indebted to all my past and current teachers and am privileged to be able to share the practice of yoga with the community at The Sol Collective.
